What we need

• Join us for a briefing to learn more about our organization and our project Generocity
• Using the text and images we provide, design and create ads to show on social media or search engines to attract new members to our organization
• We are targeting Instagram, Facebook, and Google Ads as our main social media and advertising platforms for this project
• Volunteers have the flexibility to use any design software they are proficient in for creating the ads (Canva, Photoshop etc)
• The ad designs will require both Chinese and English language elements to reach our target audience effectively
• The main deliverables for this project include crafting engaging ad copy and creating the associated graphics for our digital campaigns, with one creation/deliverable per week

Why this is important

Generocity aims to encourage Hong Kong to start giving official development assistance (ODA), as many cities around the world already do. ODA can be a very cost-effective way to help the poorest people climb out of poverty, such as by giving subsistence farmers techniques and tools to raise their productivity, reducing easily-treatable serious diseases, and improving basic education. If more people in Hong Kong join Generocity, we can show the government that the public supports ODA
