What we need

• Lead and share insights with us on our radio / podcast pilot program
• Collaborate with the Earth.Org team to lead the pilot program of our 3-month online radio station and podcast series in Hong Kong; utilise your expertise in broadcasting to develop and execute a captivating program format that covers a variety of global environmental topics
• In charge of creating comprehensive programme documents that outline the objectives, format, and guidelines for each programme type. These documents serve as a reference for presenters, ensuring consistency and quality across programs
• Managing a team of two researchers, you will oversee the recruitment of presenters for the radio and podcast programs. This involves coordinating with the researchers to identify potential talent, conducting interviews, and selecting suitable presenters based on their skills, expertise, and alignment with the program themes
• Ensure the seamless operation of the online radio station and podcast series, including technical aspects such as sound quality, scheduling, and broadcasting by working closely with other volunteers
• Collaborate with the Earth.Org team to gather feedback, analyse listener data, and make necessary adjustments to optimise the program's effectiveness
• Your involvement can be flexible depending on your availability and capacity, this can be discussed during the interview

Earth.Org is a Hong Kong-based environmental climate communications charity on a mission to depict the consequences of climate change through powerful data. By harnessing the immense potential of the web and social media platforms, we strive to captivate global audiences and become the unrivalled source of environmental news, earning us the reputation of being the "BBC of environmental news." Since our establishment in 2018, we have amassed over 750,000 users, partnered with 20 NGOs, and collaborated with 150+ contributors, enabling us to make a tangible impact.Leveraging our traction at Earth.Org, we’re launching a groundbreaking 3-month online radio station and podcast series right here in Hong Kong. We'll cover diverse global environmental topics and offer innovative solutions to tackle our generation's greatest survival risk. Through discussions with experts and frontline community members, we'll inform, educate, and advocate for change.
