What we need

• A briefing session will be hosted to share more details about the program and your involvement
• Support Executive Director in execution and coordination of D2S Foundry program 2.0
• Attend program activities around HK, including mentor trainings, company visits and business case competition day
• Be key contact for teachers, mentors and corporate partners
• Ensure students and mentors feel support throughout the 10 week programme

Background

“The Foundry” is the flagship programme of D2S. It is a 10-week experiential programme designed around a business case challenge. Through a series of workshops, company visits and mentorships sessions, students will be able to expand their horizons and get a sense of the corporate world whilst unleashing their creativity, develop self confidence and business skills and nurture their entrepreneurial spirits. They may also build valuable relationships with their team mentors who might continue to provide support beyond the programme.

What we have

You will be fully briefed ahead of engaging with teachers and mentors. Program design, logistics (i.e. surveys, scheduling, whatsapp groups) have already been prepared ahead, so you won't need to do this. We are looking for someone to communicate and stay on top of the process, and be there to answer teacher or mentor's questions as needed.

Why this is important

We aim to promote social mobility and ensure young people can find a path that fully realises their own talents, no matter their circumstances. By being a part of this programme, you will help secondary students feel less anxiety and aloneness in navigating their path forward, and gain the self confidence and exposure they need to become open to opportunities for upward mobility.
