Project Details

What we need
  • Join us for a 30 minutes meeting to learn more about our campaign and our organization
  • Meet/Visit local artisans for filming (documentary style and interview with the artisan)
  • Edit the short videos for promotional purposes
  • The videos will be shared on our social media platform and used for local and overseas exhibitions
  • Proficiency in video editing softwares is preferred
  • Schedule is flexible and can be discussed, time commitment may vary depending on the schedule
Background

Crafts on Peel is a charitable organisation to revive, reinterpret and perpetuate traditional craftsmanship by fostering collaborations between traditional craftsmen and contemporary artisans through apprenticeship and exchange of techniques to nurture the younger generations of craftsmanship. Through collaborations, artisans breathe new life into traditional crafts, reviving and prolonging their beauty and precious values in our times.

What we have

Branding guidelines, draft rundown of the videos and footage will be provided. The volunteer will directly report to and work closely with the Curatorial Assistants.

Why this is important

Crafts on Peel strive to revive, reinterpret and perpetuate traditional craftsmanship. To preserve the knowledge of artisanry, recording and organisation of video contents are of great importance.
