Project Details

What we need
  • Join us for a briefing interview to learn more our visions and initiative
  • Evaluate, identify, review and research a list of potential funding opportunities/donors for our organisation
  • Work together with the organisation to draft applications, submit proposals for funding opportunities, keep tracking on the submitted applications, approval timelines, and donor replies
  • Support planning process for fundraising related initiatives, activities and events
Background

Crafts on Peel is a charitable organisation to revive, reinterpret and perpetuate traditional craftsmanship by fostering collaborations between traditional craftsmen and contemporary artisans through apprenticeship and exchange of techniques to nurture the younger generations of craftsmanship. Through collaborations, artisans breathe new life into traditional crafts, reviving and prolonging their beauty and precious values in our times.

What we have

The volunteer will directly report to and work closely with the Creative Director.

Why this is important

Fundraising volunteer brings us to engage in meaningful conversations with potential donors and funding opportunities to perpetuate traditional craftsmanship.

Crafts on Peel is a charitable organization to revive, reinterpret and perpetuate traditional craftsmanship by fostering collaborations between traditional craftsmen and contemporary artisans through apprenticeship and the exchange of techniques, with the aim of nurturing the younger generations to incorporate traditional skills into innovative contemporary designs, to breathe new life into traditional crafts so that the values of traditional craftsmanship can be integrated to our times.
