Background

The STEP Five Innovation Camp is part of the Jockey Club CoCoon Student Training in Entrepreneurship Program, which aims to be a bridge for students to get access into the entrepreneurship community - to be inspired by entrepreneurs, work inside start-ups and acquire an entrepreneurial mind & skillset. We believe entrepreneurship is a life skill that can support them to navigate their own paths and bring value to the world.In the 4-day innovation camp, 15-17 years old students will be formed into teams of 4-5, and use different entrepreneurial tools like design thinking, lean canvas, pitch, etc to help them to build a digital product in times of COVID-19.

What we have

We will have a full set of workshops and guidance for the students on their idea-generating process, including tools and a working platform provided for the team to build their idea. We will also be hosting a 1.5 full day briefing meeting to onboard all the group facilitators on how to support the host and facilitate the groups to complete different tasks on each day.

Why this is important

Innovation Camp is one of the main events in the Jockey Club CoCoon Student Training in Entrepreneurship Program, where each year star student entrepreneur will emerge from this event.
