What we need

• Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors for event supplies such as beer cups, race medals, event equipment
• Negotiate and secure competitive pricing, discounts and sponsorship arrangement with suppliers and vendors
• Coordinate with suppliers to arrange delivery, setup and teardown of stage and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities including contracts, agreements and invoices
• Assist in overall planning and coordination of event logistics including venue setup, collection and drop off of various event materials, manage ferry logistics
• Coordinate with organizing team to ensure all logistical elements are in place such as waste management and transporation
• English-speaking volunteers with event planning experience is preferred

Background

Lamma Fun Day is our annual charity beach music festival which features a variety of activities, live performances, bar, food stalls, live auctions, and a trail run. Our event aims to raise funds for our project in Nepal.

Why this is important

Our fundraising goal for 2023 is to raise HK$500,000 through Lamma Fun Day to support our project PRAYASS (Protection from Risk and Assisting Young Girls and Women in Accessing Social Services) project, which aims to provide special care and protection services to children and young people in Nepal, particularly young girls who are at risk of abuse, exploitation, and trafficking.
