What we need

• Join us for our Chatteris Impossible to Possible Hike, which is a hike on the day to talk and play games with students throughout the hike
• Encourage conversations and speak with students in English, discussing about environmental and sustainability topics (e.g. single use plastics)
• Facilitate friendly and relaxed conversations about the environment or sharing your personal / professional stories and opportunities
• Have lunch together at a restaurant at the end of the hike

Background

The Chatteris Impossible 2 Possible (CI2P) Hiking Club offers a unique experience that combines improving English skills whilst exploring the stunning scenery of Hong Kong.

Why this is important

Our activities are attended by students from Chatteris partner schools, which have a significant number of disadvantaged students. These activities provide students with a non-formal environment that allows them to communicate in English genuinely and without any stress.By recruiting volunteers from outside our own organisation, we are enhancing students' exposure to the English speaking environment and providing them with a larger variety of experiences and opportunities.
