Provide Cantonese <> English interpretation for online seminars on Inclusive dance
The First Hong Kong International Inclusive Dance Festival ( June - July 2023 )The first and ever Inclusive Dance Festival is an original, exciting large-scale event showcasing the inclusive dance activities from Hong Kong and all over the world. Our mission is to further remove barriers between those with and without disabilities through dance and movement, coming together for artistic exploration and community building, raising awareness and acting as a catalyst for a more inclusive world.This year, we had invited 11 independent artists and organizations to hold diverse, inclusive and in-depth workshops for all. In the activities that stretch over a month, we not only look back to the history and achievements of Inclusive Dance throughout past decades, but also explore future possibilities to this authentic and immensely creative art form in Hong Kong.
Session materials and a short briefing will be provided when possible.
As an interpreter, your work helps to equip the audience with knowledge and proper understanding on the insights shared by veteran guest speakers. In simultaneous interpreting, your role can keeps the audience focused and attentive so they can understand the shared views/ideas/ideology/thought and hopefully being inspired of continuous participation on the similar events on future.
