What we need

• Join a 30-min briefing session prior kick-off of the event
• Volunteering hours will be from 8:00am - 6:00pm
• We're expecting 15-30 teams playing at the Tournament, we're looking for 5 photographers so you can take turns to be at different games and roles
• Capture moments at games, opening ceremony and overall
• Post-production using editing software, i.e. Photoshop and Lightroom, kindly send us edited photos within 1 week after event ends

Background

The exciting "Home And Away" charity football tournament is back! This year, Branches of Hope will be hosting the Tournament on 11 October 2024 at King’s Park, Kowloon.We hope this Tournament will raise awareness and funds for refugees, asylum-seekers and human-trafficking survivors living in Hong Kong. We bring across a message that they are away from home and separated from their families, but also instills hope that our city is one that cares. We also hope this event will provide a place for the marginalised and vulnerable to enjoy football with different corporations in Hong Kong, and as a result genuine friendships will be formed. Moreover, to facilitate social integration across the city where they feel being cared for and experienced “Home away from Home”, and everyone foster the spirit of “Home together”.

Branding guidelines will be provided and there will be a briefing session before the event.

This is a community engagement and fundraising event for Branches of Hope.
