Project Details

What we need
  • Join us for a 15 minutes call to learn more about our DSE mentorship programme (ideally 1 on 1 mentorship)
  • Join us on 10 June 2:00pm - 5:00pm for the orientation day with the potential mentees who are from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Join us on 17 June with the mentees for a social impact training
  • Meet the mentee at least once during the mentorship period
  • Any English-speaking volunteer is welcomed! We are especially looking for ethnic minorities being mentors!
Background

D-Generation is a regional talent development house that supports youths for their school-to-work transition and develops opportunities for youth to take part in social sustainability leadership through experiential learning. Currently, this initiative is housed under the Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation (AYF), a registered charity in Hong Kong that focuses on youth development and social innovation in Asia.

What we have

1) Mentor Kit will be provided for the mentors to facilitate the training2) Optional mentorship training for the mentors to learn on active listening

Why this is important

At the Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation, we offer a personalized internship program that caters to the individual interests and career goals of each participant, while also focusing on their holistic growth and development. Through our program, interns have access to a variety of unique opportunities, such as:-Access to our existing knowledge library on youth development issues-A diverse and regional professional network by interacting with peers and professionals from various backgrounds.
