Background

The Strings of Love has been going very well in the past six months and we are hoping to continue running this programme to benefit more underprivileged children, allowing a chance for them to experience the beauty of music. It was such a meaningful experience for both our charity and we are overjoyed to see children improving their self-confidence while learning to play violin. We appreciate any music lovers who can work with us voluntarily to bring together love and passion, at the same time passing on music knowledge for these children.

What we have

We can arrange a comprehensive phone call to explain logistics. Not only will you get a certificate of appreciation, you can also be featured on our website and promotional videos (feel free to send us your bio)! Most importantly you will get to feel the immense joy and satisfaction from spending time with the kiddos. We can also provide other volunteer opportunities all year round, can't wait to discuss fun ideas with you all!

Why this is important

This is an education programme for children and teenagers from underprivileged or low-income families.

What we do

AMEF aims to create a safe and effective platform for children and teenagers to enhance their artistic creativity and to promote self-development. We as a foundation strongly encourages young people to step out of their comfort zone, communicate with different social strata, learn from one another, and inspire one another as well. Through experiential learning while inheriting strong Chinese and Hong Kong culture, AMEF’s goal is to help young people build confidence, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and most importantly, learn to give back to society.
