What we need

• Assist in creating and scheduling 1-2 engaging posts per week for the Facebook group
• Help reach out to relevant organizations, influencers, and online groups for collaborations
• Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns (e.g., themed days, challenges, giveaways)
• Monitor group activity, respond to member posts, and foster a supportive environment
• Research and share up-to-date resources and content for caregivers

Background

Agewhale is launching a Facebook group for long-distance caregivers who are caring for elderly family members from afar. This group will serve as a hub for sharing experiences, resources, and emotional support, addressing the unique challenges of long-distance caregiving. With Hong Kong’s aging population and increasing global mobility, this initiative aims to fill a critical gap in caregiver support. By fostering connections and providing practical tools, we hope to empower caregivers to navigate their responsibilities with greater ease and confidence.

What we have

We’ll equip volunteers with a detailed promotional plan and a list of target organizations and influencers. Volunteers will also receive access to Agewhale’s branding guidelines. Additionally, our team will provide ongoing support.

Why this is important

This Facebook group aligns with Agewhale’s mission to support caregivers. By building a vibrant online community, we’ll raise awareness about caregiving challenges, expand our reach, and strengthen our position as a leader in caregiver support.
