What we need

• Help us produce a storytelling video in Cantonese, aiming to teach elderly about remote health monitoring in a simple way
• Join a 1 hour brainstorming session and work closely with our committee on the task
• Conduct research on topics discussed (1 hour estimated)
• Create a animated video which is under 10 minutes, including subtitles, music, voice-over, etc.
• We will share with you some existing videos, photos, interview clips with users (case studies)
• Open to volunteers using any video editing softwares
• Prefer Cantonese-speaking volunteers

Background

We are planning to launch a video to promote remote health monitoring to HK community through innovative technologies and professional caring services.

What we have

Remote health monitoring Training Materials. Volunteers participate in this project need to be creative and it is a fun role. AgeSmart will provide volunteers the content materials for the videos. Volunteers are expected to have a mix of both video editing technical skills (e.g. capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound file, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, etc.) and creativity in the video production (i.e. different presenting style and techniques).

Why this is important

Video is everywhere. As technological advances, it becomes more common for companies to use video as a communications platform. Video is a crucial part of the AgeSmart digital delivery and part of our marketing strategies. AgeSmart plans to provide short-clips in our website about remote health monitoring videos (Cantonese) for the Hong Kong community.It helps AgeSmart to observe and determine the effectiveness of video contents.
