What we do

In programmes across five key sectors, clean air, water, living oceans, protecting landscapes and wildlife trade, ADMCF contributes to climate action and biodiversity protection. We initiate each programme with research to identify the specific challenges and needed systemic change then establish action plans that target our objectives. We convene and collaborate with partners to achieve the desired impact and since effective communication is critical to changing attitudes and enhancing understanding, media is key. We see philanthropy can help Asia toward a ‘business unusual” approach to low-carbon growth. Where we see an environmental challenge that is not being addressed, we initiate and incubate initiatives to fill gaps or provide support to a new effort created by others. We believe that philanthropy is in the unique position of being able to take risk to foster change.
