Motivated by a deep passion for conservation both globally and locally, my goal is to advocate for sustainability in a thorough and impactful way. I aim to raise awareness about the importance of conservation efforts and educate others on sustainability principles holistically. In my recent role at CHOMP HK, a leading food waste reduction app based in Hong Kong, I worked as a sustainability and social media advisor. I played a key role in advancing the company's sustainability projects through creative project development and leveraging social media as an educational platform. Prior to this, I spent five years focusing on environmental education and conservation research in South Africa. I concentrated on promoting sustainability in the tourism industry by investigating the alignment of national laws with practical applications. I worked as an environmental educator in multiple organisations and collaborated with local non-profits in the Greater Kruger region. I also led a personal sustainable tourism project for two years to transform nature-based tourism practices in South Africa. My academic background includes a Master of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability and Environmental Management from the University of Leeds.
