Hi, I'm Sara Tan, co-founder and CEO of Novalearn.org, a Cyberport-backed edtech company with an after-school e-Learning platform and app. I am originally from Malaysia and currently residing in Hong Kong. Prior to this chapter of my life, I founded a healthy food-tech start-up in Malaysia (in 2014) where I exited and moved to Shenzhen, China, in 2018 to join the core team of an edtech VR/AR company in Shenzhen, where we built innovative AR/V labs across international schools in China. I enjoy building products and teams. Coming from a single-parent family and being the eldest of three siblings, the challenges I faced growing up groomed me to be a resilient, empathetic person who looks at challenges as a way to grow. I would like to share my personal learnings to encourage and motivate the local community.
