Autism Partnership Foundation (APF), a registered charitable organisation in Hong Kong, is committed to making a difference to the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. We provide intensive Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with ASD from low-income families. In addition, we organise training programmes and workshops for parents, aiming to improve the behavioural problems of their children. APF also generates public awareness and knowledge about ASD through various public education and publicity campaigns. Meela is a seasoned project management and design professional with more than 3 years of experience in leading and managing multiple creative projects from scratch to final creative output delivery, human-centered designs and deliverables in the entertainment and theme park industry. She is an innovative and human-centered individual with an enthusiasm to contribute her regional experiences and expertise in product design, design project management, graphic design, UI/UX design, and various design related domains (such as industrial design, jewellery, watch and clock design etc) to deliver attractive, human-centered designs and deliverables. She enjoys taking up challenges and has a curiosity to explore the mechanical underpinnings of various products, and has hands-on experiences in working with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams, and has been an exquisite project manager and designer. She has a track record of achieving outstanding results in enhancing efficiency and quality of field installations and reducing construction errors through the introduction and implementation of design and BIM Revit for architecture and engineering to resolving issues encountered to transform complex design ideas and concepts into extraordinary showstopping deliverables at the Show Studio, while at the same time, reducing construction costs. Furthermore, she has successfully standardized CAD drawing notes as a theme light designer, resulting to a reduction in sample lead times, thus leading to an efficient and effective delivery of prototype realizations and final designs. A self-motivated and methodical team player and project manager with strong creativity and curiosity, along with extensive design and project management experiences in the entertainment and theme park industry, and an active competitor in various industrial design, jewellery, watch and clock design competitions and awards, She is currently exploring to join a high potential team in project engineering and design, or product R&D related opportunities in the manufacturing and innovation sectors.
