About Ash
Ash Gupta is a Partner and Head of Asia Operational Due Diligence (ODD) at Albourne Partners covering hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate and real assets. Prior to Albourne, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Ascender Capital, a Hong Kong-based hedge fund focused on value and growth opportunities across Asia Pacific. He joined Ascender from Bagan Capital, an emerging markets private equity firm, where he was the Head of Business Development. Previously, Ash was on the Asian Equity Derivatives team at Societe Generale and started his career as an Analyst at Private Capital.
Ash graduated with a BA in Economics from Tufts University and a PGC in Financial Engineering from Stanford University. He currently serves on the Tufts Global Alumni Council and is the Co-Head of the Hong Kong Tufts Alumni.
Outside of work, Ash enjoys giving back to the community with a focus on healthcare and education initiatives. He was a founding member of TAMTAM Uganda, an NGO focused on malaria prevention for at-risk pregnant women and infants, and a committee member at Room to Read, an organization promoting literacy among women and children in Asia and Africa. Currently, he works with the Order of Malta and is a member of the Flying Young Committee - a program working collaboratively with Caritas Hong Kong to focus on youth development through unique experiences and activities for socioeconomically challenged families and children living below the poverty line.

Session Scheduling Policy
After application approval, you'll receive an email connecting you with your mentor. Schedule a session promptly and keep Time Auction team in the loop. If we don't hear from you within a week, it leads to application cancellation and the following:
No-Show Policy
For all scheduled mentoring sessions, we have a "one strike" ban policy for no-show bookings without informing the other party. Cancelling within 24 hours is also counted as no-show.
10 volunteer hours must be completed during 4 Apr 2023 to 4 Jul 2024.
