About Sharon
Sharon is currently the Head of North Asia, Private Wealth at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (also known as KKR), which is an American global investment company that manages multiple alternative asset classes. Prior to KKR, Sharon held hedge fund and alternative product specialists roles at UBS Wealth Management and HSBC Private Bank, respectively.
Sharon has over 17 years of experience in client facing roles, in which 15 years was in the alternative investments space across hedge funds, private equity and real estate, working with private wealth clients, family offices and institutional investors including pension plans, endowments and foundations.
Sharon graduated from Cornell University where she studied Biological and Environmental Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. She started her career as a project manager in technology in San Francisco Bay Area, prior to moving back to Hong Kong to start her career in alternative investments.
Outside of work and spending time with her three children, Sharon devotes her free time volunteering with various organizations, mostly focused on helping under-resourced youth via mentorships and career programs. She’s also engaged in side businesses in the lifestyle space. She loves to read, particularly drawn to literature, memoirs, investigative journalism and historical fiction. Pre-pandemic, Sharon enjoys live music, traveling and scuba diving.

Session Scheduling Policy
After application approval, you'll receive an email connecting you with your mentor. Schedule a session promptly and keep Time Auction team in the loop. If we don't hear from you within a week, it leads to:
No-Show Policy
For all scheduled mentoring sessions, we have a "one strike" ban policy for no-show bookings without informing the other party. Cancelling within 24 hours is also counted as no-show.
10 volunteer hours must be completed during 14 Sep 2022 to 31 Mar 2024.
