About Patrick

Patrick has primary responsibility for trading and portfolio management. The 10+ years of trading experience has enabled Patrick to develop mature arbitrage skills, which have in turn produced countless profitable positions. Ultimately, this has led to the rapid growth of AP Capital. Prior to founding the fund, Patrick was a member of the index arbitrage trading desk at Barclays Capital Securities Asia Ltd, where he was part of a team that managed over USS2bn in assets. He set up AP Capital Absolute Return Fund in 2014 and initially traded across the Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysian, Japanese and Australian Markets. Thereafter, Patrick expanded the firm's investment geography, and began to allocate to a range of Frontier Markets, including India, Korea and China etc.

Patrick holds a Master of Statistics with distinction from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

For all scheduled mentoring sessions, we have a "one strike" ban policy for no-show bookings without informing the other party. Cancelling within 24 hours is also counted as no-show.

1st strike: 1-month suspension
2nd strike: 3-month suspension
3rd strike: Banned
