Description
As an active member of the local ethnically diverse community in Hong Kong and the senior programme manager of a successful education programme for marginalised youth, I am happy to share my experiences. I will discuss strategies for creating impactful education programmes and the importance of meeting students in their unique contexts.
In this Call, I will help you:
- Develop practical and creative skills to connect with youth
- Approach students who are not as engaged with empathy
- Reflect on oneself to enhance your communication skills with youth
- Explore effective brand storytelling to engage your target audience.

I work as a senior programme manager at EmpowerU, a non-profit education organisation. I bring my experience of growing up in Hong Kong as an ethnically diverse community member and the collective experiences of the community to create a space for the ethnically diverse secondary school students to learn and thrive in.
