John Ho is the Founder and Chief Industrialist Investor of Janchor Partners, with approximately US$5 billion of assets under management.
John served as Chairman (2017-2019) of Bellamy’s Australia Limited, an organic infant milk formula and baby food company where John led a Board and management renewal and ultimately brought about a successful turnaround and acquisition by Mengniu Dairy Group. Janchor was a substantial shareholder in the company.
John served as Deputy Chairman and member (2014-2019) of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Committee, an independent body made up of leading market practitioners whose functions are to approve stock exchange listings and provide independent oversight over the Listing Division.
John is currently a Non-Executive Director of Vocus Group limited, a telecommunications company listed on ASX.

Before founding Janchor Partners, John was the Head of The Children’s Investment Fund (Asia) Limited in Hong Kong, managing the Asia office and its business and investment activities. Prior to that, John was a senior analyst with the Citadel Investment Group in the U.S. and also a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Australia. Prior to BCG, John was an Associate Lecturer in finance and option pricing at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. He has extensive experience serving on Boards of publicly-listed, private and start-up companies, guiding and counselling chief executives and senior management both operationally and strategically.
John studied pure mathematics and finance at The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia graduating with a University Medal. His dissertation on options pricing on real assets was published in The Journal of Alternative Investments. He also reads classical music and is a professionally qualified piano teacher and concert pianist. He lives in Hong Kong with his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Cost per person is HK$50 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$100 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.
