Ms. Karen So is seasoned Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the food and beverages industry. She takes charge of total 18 bottling plants operations with 22,000 employees in 12 provinces serving more than 50% of the total consumers in China. Swire Coca-Cola has been partnering with the Coca-Cola Company for more than 50 years and is the 5th largest bottling group in the Coca-Cola system globally with franchise territory in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and United States of America. Ms. Karen So has served in the Coca-Cola system for more than 21 years, before joining Swire Coca-Cola in 2016. She has held various management positions in the Coca-Cola Company since she joined in 1996. Karen has been expanding her roles and responsibilities and in 2006 was promoted to General Manager for HK & Macau. During this period, she has enhanced strategic alignment with Franchise Bottlers and implemented a series of local innovative initiatives leading to the growth of category in Sparkling, Juice and Water. Hong Kong has become a best practice market in the Asia and Pacific Group. In Aug 2012, Karen was promoted as the General Manager for Swire Franchise and later in Aug, 2014, she became the Franchise GM for COFCO Bottling Group. During the period, she has achieved strong business growth through strengthening partnership with each bottling groups and enhanced brand building & in-outlet execution.

In Sept 2015, Karen was appointed as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives in the Commercial Leadership of Coca-Cola Refreshments (CCR) in North America. This position plays a critical role in CCR’s US sales and operations organization, responsible for the channel strategies, planning and other relevant programs. Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from The University of Hong Kong and MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
