Tina is the Head of Philanthropy for The Swire Group Charitable Trust, which is part of the Swire group established in 1816. The Trust supports initiatives in Hong Kong and China on education, marine and arts. Prior to joining Swire, Tina was a member of HSBC's Philanthropy Services team in Hong Kong and managed some of the largest charitable trusts in Hong Kong, with annual donations over USD 7 million. She provided ultra-high net-worth clients with a wide-range of advisory and administrative services, which included initial design and set up of the foundation, daily administration of foundation activities, asset portfolio management, project identification and evaluation. Before HSBC, Tina served as Executive Director for over six years at the Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation(陈一心家族基金会), an award-winning charitable foundation focusing on education in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Ghana. Under her leadership, the foundation was voted as the top 5 foreign donors in China, and was at the frontline of promoting impactful giving as well as foundation governance. Prior to the Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation, Tina worked as a consultant and lobbied for multinational companies, Governments and industry coalitions in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Tina also worked for Saudi Aramco in China and helped establish a joint-venture between Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil and Sinopec, the largest sino-foreign joint-venture at that time. She started her career as a business analyst at an online merchant and interning at the Hong Kong Legislative Council as a researcher. Tina attained both her Master’s and Bachelor degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in USA. All volunteer hours must be completed during 1 April 2019 to 20 September 2019.
Cost per person is HK$150 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$250 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.
Dinner will be held at azalvo Causeway Bay at 7:15-9:30pm on 2 October 2019.
