Before co-founding Divide with Andrew and Alexander, David was the co-founder of a mobile security company (in 2005) that leveraged the strong two-factor personal authentication on cellphones. Before that, David was the Director of Engineering at Smule, where he created the initial Sonic Network, which powered many of the company’s #1 hits on the Apple App Store including Ocarina, Sonic Lighter, and I Am T-Pain. Over the years, David has held technical roles at companies such as Morgan Stanley, Jarna, and HP. At the beginning of his career, David hacked mobile devices and has since worked at securing many major platforms including Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, PalmOS, and Symbian. David holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
