Michelle is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division in Southeast Asia as well as a member of the Real Estate Group in Asia Pacific ex-Japan. Previously, she led Mergers and Acquisitions in Southeast Asia from 2015 to 2017. Michelle joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 as an Analyst based in Hong Kong. She was named Managing Director in 2017. With both capital markets and complex M&A experience, her recent transactions include the US$20.5bn buy-side advisory / take private and associated debt financing of Global Logistics Properties, €565m IPO of Cromwell European REIT, the sole advisor to Oakwood Worldwide for its 100% sale to Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd and the US$12.3bn Fraser & Neave / Asia Pacific Brewery sale in 2012. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Michelle worked in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at UBS in Hong Kong. Michelle earned a BSc in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore in 2003.
