Rachel Catanach is FleishmanHillard’s President and Senior Partner, Greater China office. She has over 25 years’ experience in corporate, financial and issues management in the Asia Pacific region. A FleishmanHillard certified crisis counselor, Rachel has advised organisations and individuals on a range of issues and crises including constitutional issues, product recalls, executive dismissal/changes, employee and labour issues, major restructurings, operational crises, litigation issues, and shareholder/performance challenges.
A former Chairman of the Council of Public Relations of Hong Kong for two terms, Rachel is a regular commentator on reputation management issues and speaker at industry conferences. In 2014, she was awarded by Public Affairs Asia the Gold Standard Award for Professional Excellence (consultancy). She also won the Holmes Report Sabre Award for Persuasive Content. In 2010, she was awarded FleishmanHillard’s prestigious John D. Graham Award, which is given to counselors who demonstrate outstanding leadership and exemplify the firm’s values. In 2015, under her leadership, the Hong Kong office won Public Affairs Asia’s Gold Standard Award for In-market consultancy. She is an avid reader and accomplished violinist and plays in a local Hong Kong orchestra as often as she can.
All volunteer hours must be completed during 1 April 2017 to 31 August 2017.
Cost per person is HK$200 to cover running cost of the program.
