• Volunteers with interest or experience in managing events, including virtual
• Good cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence
• Providing assistance to the team and support the delivery of events on Sunday afternoons (once every 3 to 4 weeks, the dates are : Nov 6, and Nov 29 and approximately 4 hours each.) You don't need to attend both dates, if possible, please mention which dates you cannot join.
• Attending virtual briefing meetings (approximately 1-2 hour) before the events
• Encouraging and supporting participants to participate in the activities during (virtual) workshops/events and support any on the day issues from participants

Every year, Resolve convenes and provides support to 19 extraordinary and diverse individuals from the community as part of our social justice fellowship program. They have strong interest and potential for social justice leadership and are committed to the theme of the year. This year, our fellowship is on the theme Wellbeing Reimagined: inclusive and accessible health for all. Each year, the fellowship explores a different theme, but the model stays the same: a program that combines human rights education, campaigning skills and leadership development. It is a community for mutual support and learning and we offer 8 group workshops and mentoring to help the fellows build their capacity and leadership for social justice.

We have the tools and experience designing and facilitating interactive events that build an intimate and supportive community for developing leadership. In each event, you can learn from community leaders, mentors, and fellows from diverse walks of life and gather new insights on social justice and inclusion. We adopt a human rights based approach and a participatory approach in our work.

COVID-19 has brought us a new normal and the opportunity to try new ways of creating meaningful experiences and connections. The fellowship events are adapted and converted whilst keeping the interactive and safe space for the emerging social justice leaders for mutual support and learning. This volunteer role is essential to the facilitation of interactive activities during the events. You will also help create an accessible learning and sharing environment for fellows with different accessibility needs and support building a new pipeline of community leaders in Hong Kong.
