Provide advices and suggestions on reconfiguring living and studying space for low-income families' public rental housing units.
We are launching a program serving low-income families living in public rental housing estates and other substandard housing to improve the use of space, specifically to improve the quality of studying space for children/students.
Volunteer is required to conduct a home visit with Habitat staff (about 0.5 hour) to understand the need of our beneficiaries. The main goal is to ensure the need of our beneficiaries can be met by the redesign/reuse of space. Expertise in space configuration needed. Sketches and construction drawings are NOT required. Volunteer will work remotely.
This project will help Habitat for Humanity work towards our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Beneficiaries will be able to better utilize space in their apartments.

Driven by the same vision as Habitat International that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat Hong Kong is dedicated to raising awareness of the need for decent, affordable housing and harnessing resources to improve living conditions for families across the Asia-Pacific region, including mainland China since 2004. The local programme ‘Project Home Works’ also provides a hand-up to low-income families, the elderly and the disabled in Hong Kong through home repairs by local volunteers.
