我們需要

• Overhauling abandoned rusty bicycles by following the instruction and guidance of the manager.
• 1-2 days a week, 10:00 - 17:00, lunch is provided for free
• Knowledge and experience in overhauling bicycles is preferred
• Cycling ability is a plus

背景資料

Crossroads Foundation is a Hong Kong based, non-profit organisation serving global need. We believe that, in a broken world that sees too much suffering, we should do all we can to link those who are in need with those who can provide help. So we provide an intersection, literally a crossroads, to bring both together, through 4 'global services' (https://www.crossroads.org.hk/home/our-work/). For many rural people in poverty, a bicycle completely transforms their life, as they can travel to work or take their goods to a more profitable market. Our bicycle department is in charge of overhauling bicycles so that they are ready to be allocated to those who are in need.

我們可提供的資源

Further training will be provided to ensure the volunteer is able to handle the daily duties. Tools and materials needed for overhauling are also provided.

對我們的意義

Crossroads is dedicated to providing help to those who are in need. Around 95% of the overhauled bicycles will then be allocated internationally, while the rest will go to those who are in need locally.
