Photographing an education project for school students in Kwun Tong
Thanks to our collaboration with Chinese calligraphy artist Katrina Mo and sound artist Alain Chiu, we have an exciting learning session planned for non-Chinese speaking children in HK. Through this project, we aim to help younger participants understand and appreciate the real-life relevance of Chinese calligraphy, its historical contexts, and the emotions it conveys. We also aim to create a meaningful and multi-sensory experience that enhances their appreciation of Chinese calligraphy and fosters their understanding of different perspectives. Additionally, we seek to introduce a facet of Hong Kong's disappearing culture through art, strengthening cultural sensitivity and fostering connections within our community.
We will provide event rundown and briefing prior to the event.
By documenting the students' participation and the volunteers' contribution to this education initiative, you will help us create a lasting impact and raise awareness about the importance of cultural education.
