How Time Auction works

1. Earn Karma

Donating and logging past volunteer hours earns you Karma Points, which you can then use to bid on auctions. $1 donated earns 1 Karma Point and 1 hour volunteered earns 10 Karma Points.

2. Bid

Bid your Karma Points to meet inspiring people, such as humanitarians, entrepreneurs, athletes, or artists. Most auctions allow every bidder to win if the goal is reached.

3. Meet

Time Auction is all about priceless experiences and rewards for the priceless philanthropy you do. Depending on the auction, meetings are done virtually or in person... or both!

Description

Paul Choi is an executive director in the Human Capital Management (HCM) division of Goldman Sachs in Asia and the Head of Goldman Sachs University (GSU) and Talent Branding for Asia Pacific region. He joined the firm in May 2000 as an associate in the Investment Banking division to manage the divisional training team for Asia. In 2002, he moved to HCM to become the head of GSU for Asia Pacific.

In addition to his leadership role in HCM, Paul has also been actively involved in providing training advice to the firm's key clients in Asia. He also chairs the LGBT Network Council for the firm in Asia Pacific.

Paul has over 25 years of international experience. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked at a number of multinational organizations including Accenture, JP Morgan and Industrial Bank of Japan in cities including Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York and London.

Requirements

All volunteer hours must be completed during 1 March 2017 to 20 July 2017.

Lunch will be held on 7 August 2017 at Goldman Sachs office.
