What we need
  • Join us for a 30 minutes call to learn more about our organization and our social media strategy
  • Research and create 1-2 social media post with design / relevant images per week for Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and website
  • Create Impact Stories of past Operation Santa Claus beneficiaries
  • Create posts in both English and Chinese (bilingual)
Background

Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is an annual charity campaign jointly organised by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). It's mission is the encourage the spirit of giving love and care. OSC is currently planning a social media campaign to demonstrate the impact of the project by showcasing beneficiaries' impact stories in order to build public awareness. Suitable volunteers are welcome to continue helping us for the rest of the months for other related social media content creation.

What we have

Images, branding, topical guidelines and access to our Canva Pro account will be provided. Existing materials such as beneficiaries' photos and texts are ready yet requires editing and adaptation.

Why this is important

Your social media posts will create awareness for our mission, in hopes to build up a community and get support or donation from the audiences.

Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is an annual charity campaign jointly organised by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). Since 1988, OSC has raised over HK$369 million to support 338 charity projects, sharing hope, and funding life-enhancing transformations to those in need. OSC is operated by SCMP Charities Ltd, a registered charity under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. The platform has been popular as it brings together corporate leaders, NGOs and the public to do good for the community of Hong Kong. Mission: Connect local community to charities by leveraging the voices of two of the city’s most respected media organizations Fundraise for smaller and lesser-known charities registered in Hong Kong Increase public awareness for the neediest people, sharing the gift of hope to those who lack the means to improve their lives
