Coordinate the preparation, logistics, follow up and onsite support of our exhibition
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting Hong Kong's cultural heritage. Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of preserving historical memory. In 2015, an unexpected diary from 1944 was discovered in a tenement slated for demolition, revealing a previously unknown piece of history. The diary’s author was a Chinese officer who participated in the D-Day landings during World War II. Through our research and preservation efforts, we aim to uncover and reintroduce this forgotten chapter of history to the public. To achieve this, we will be organizing a series of exhibitions to share these significant historical findings with the people of Hong Kong, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the city's cultural roots. The first phase will focus on these exhibitions. In the second phase, we will launch an educational program in a bootcamp format aimed at the younger generation in Hong Kong. This program will not only cultivate curiosity and provide more opportunities for students of art and humanities to achieve their goals, but also nurture future youth leaders through mentorship and hands-on experiences.
Detailed ideas and proposal for the education program will be provided and our team will work closely with you
Volunteers will participate in brainstorming ideas, event planning, and managing logistical details and onsite coordination. Having a dedicated coordinator will free up the core team to focus on high-level event oversight.

We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to protecting Hong Kong's cultural heritage. We aim to raise awareness about the importance of transmitting memory. In 2015, when an unexpected diary from 1944 was discovered in a tenement building slated for demolition, it revealed a previously unknown piece of history. The diary's author, Lin Ping-Yu, had participated in the D-Day landings, one of the largest military operations in human history, as a Chinese soldier fighting on the European front during World War II. Through our ongoing historical research and preservation efforts, we hope to uncover and reintroduce this forgotten chapter of history to the public. To this end, we will be organizing a series of exhibitions to share these important historical findings with the people of Hong Kong, allowing them to better understand the cultural roots of our city.
