背景資料

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Organic Farm situated at Ho Pui Reservoir, Yuen Long is about 160,000 sq. ft, its is so far the only farm in Hong Kong follows both the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Programme and also Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre offering our consumers fresh local organic produce.

Instructors at the Farm will guide participants to visit the farm and explain the cultivation of various seasonal vegetables and fruits, such as weeding, soil plowing, harvesting, etc. You will be helping out with one of the tasks as instructed. The actual experience content depends on the needs of the farmland that day. For lunch, we invite you to enjoy a free session of making dumplings with delicious organic vegetables with other friendly volunteers!Our first volunteering session will be held on 15 Feb 2025 (Saturday). If interested, please contact Ashley at 37557110 to join the first session. We welcome you to bring your friends and families for a fun volunteering and learning day at the Farm too!
