Join us in guiding the 'Seeking Guangdong Ten Tigers Story' Tour at Guangdong!
The "Seeking Guangdong Ten Tigers Story" project is organized as part of the "Youth Mainland Exchange Subsidy Program," jointly funded by the Civil Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission. The project is hosted by Social Enterprise Seed.The project aims to provide a unique opportunity for students to explore the cultural heritage and historical significance of Guangdong Province, particularly through the stories and values of the "Guangdong Ten Tigers." By immersing themselves in the local communities and engaging in various activities, students will develop a deeper understanding of the region's rich history, cultural traditions, and the spirit of martial virtue.
Volunteers will have their accommodation, transportation, and food expenses covered throughout the duration of the tour. A comprehensive meeting will be organized in late March to brief all volunteers on the tour details, their specific roles and responsibilities, and the overall objectives. At the end of the tour, volunteers will receive a certificate of participation or appreciation as recognition for their valuable contribution.
Allow students to experience the one-hour living circle within Guangdong Province, strengthening their psychological integration into the Greater Bay Area through practical experiences, Understand the spirit of the "Guangdong Ten Tigers," who protect the people of their hometown and advocate martial virtues, Appreciate the efficient government that ensures the safety of citizens' lives, Participate in "disaster prevention training" to have a comprehensive understanding of "national security education", Pre-tour arrangements will include activities on "national security education" and "career planning"

Social Seed was established in 2018 by alumni from the Chinese University of Hong Kong's MBA program. It has received guidance from several professors at the university and leaders of well-known charitable organizations. Social Seed aims to help and support vulnerable communities in society and assist underprivileged students in their growth through continuous education and public welfare initiatives. Since its establishment, Social Seed has served over 50,000 grassroots students through online and offline activities. It has organized over 100 events in collaboration with more than 40 supporting organizations, involving more than 300 primary schools and kindergartens and engaging hundreds of volunteers. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Social Seed has actively participated in the government's call for anti-pandemic actions and initiated a donation drive for epidemic prevention supplies. This donation drive has received support from over 30 commercial organizations, including two listed companies. The epidemic prevention supplies have been distributed to schools across various districts in Hong Kong, benefiting over 30,000 underprivileged families and delivering care and love to every community.
