• Participate in a Zoom briefing in late March and join the tour during 8-11 Apr (all expenses covered!)
• Assist the tour organizers and local guides in facilitating a smooth and enjoyable experience for the participants
• Actively engage with participants, fostering a friendly and welcoming environment throughout the tour
• Assist in ensuring that participants adhere to safety guidelines, follow instructions during visits to museums and historical sites, and remain together as a group during outdoor activities
• Work closely with the tour organizers, local guides, and fellow volunteers as a cohesive team
• We expect around 200 F4-6 students joining the tour, and each volunteer will take care of a group of 10-15 students
• Help with taking photos (if assigned)

背景資料

The "Seeking Guangdong Ten Tigers Story" project is organized as part of the "Youth Mainland Exchange Subsidy Program," jointly funded by the Civil Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission. The project is hosted by Social Enterprise Seed.The project aims to provide a unique opportunity for students to explore the cultural heritage and historical significance of Guangdong Province, particularly through the stories and values of the "Guangdong Ten Tigers." By immersing themselves in the local communities and engaging in various activities, students will develop a deeper understanding of the region's rich history, cultural traditions, and the spirit of martial virtue.

我們可提供的資源

Volunteers will have their accommodation, transportation, and food expenses covered throughout the duration of the tour. A comprehensive meeting will be organized in late March to brief all volunteers on the tour details, their specific roles and responsibilities, and the overall objectives. At the end of the tour, volunteers will receive a certificate of participation or appreciation as recognition for their valuable contribution.
