• Translate the remaining sections of the questionnaire into Traditional Chinese, using Hong Kong-appropriate language
• Only a written translation is needed; there is no spoken/verbal interpretation required

背景資料

PILnet has created a legal health check that NGOs in Hong Kong can undergo. The check is done by a team of pro bono lawyers. The NGO must complete a lengthly online questionnaire as part of the process, which asks various questions about the NGO's activities, using both legal and everyday terms. The questionnaire is currently in English, but we would like to create a bilingual English-Chinese version. Some of the sections have already been translated, but there is still more to do; we estimate that the remaining work might take around 5 more hours, although it's just our best guess. We would like the translation to be in Traditional Chinese, using contemporary Hong Kong-appropriate terminology.

We will provide a link to the current English version of the online questionnaire, as well as a spreadsheet where the Chinese translation can be entered alongside the English text. You can also review sections already translated.

對我們的意義

Our goal is for this legal health check to be made more widely available to NGOs in Hong Kong. A bilingual intake questionnaire will make it more accessible to the community and allow more people to benefit from this important service.
