• Have regular meetings with our team to review our existing financial and accounting system and share advice with us on process improvements
• Develop financial and accounting system using online tools, likely to be Oracle Netsuite
• Migrate existing database to the cloud based accounting and financial system
• Volunteers with accounting experience or experience with Oracle Netsuite will be ideal!

背景資料

We are quickly expanding and have initiated several farming conservation and community building projects, supported by family foundation and government. Recently we opened "Good Old Soil" shop in Mui Wo, selling products derived from local veggies and fruits. There is a need to upgrade our existing accounting and financial management system to meet our growth. Oracle Netsuite will offer a donation for using their services. But we need volunteers to help migrating our database to the system and advise the features we could utilize given our organization needs.

Netsuite will provide training and technical support upon the migration and the volunteer can get trained from the start. Our part-time admin and accounting officer will help through the process.

A good accounting and financing backbone can help us quickly respond to community needs. We are currently helping Mui Wo farmers to sell their local produces via organizing veggie bag scheme and farm fests. We also help to build up the supportive community by recruiting interns to learn farming skills from local entrepreneurs. A strong finance system is essential to extend our work in Hong Kong and gain supports from other private foundation and government bodies.
