• Facilitate/moderate programmes when there are international guests speakers/instructors
• Assist the trainer and perform flexibly in accordance with the session outline
• Conduct spontaneous ice-breaking activities
• Occasionally translate/interpret for students or international guests
• Guide and control the group to ensure effective participation
• Duration of our projects can be from 3-hour sessions to 5-day training events, you can support based on your availability

背景資料

We are looking for confident individuals to work as programme facilitators. We would like to recruit facilitators who are interested in world culture and international relations. Not only working as a facilitator, but also contributing to the community and nurturing our future young leaders. Programme facilitators need to be able to manage the classroom atmosphere and help ensure that training objectives are met. They have to be able to start and dismiss sessions, clarify and wrap-up, moderate discussions by guests and keep time. They have to be confident authorities in the classroom, while occasionally translating or interpreting for international guests, and being aware of student understanding or learning difficulties. Please note that this role is long-term, and help from Programme Facilitators is needed occasionally throughout the academic year.
