Help us to bring to life a mascot for our clean-up programmes
Green Hour, an environmental NGO, is launching a new campaign to raise awareness and engage children and adults in environmental conservation and sustainability. To effectively communicate with this and create a memorable and relatable experience, the NGO has decided to create a mascot.
To assist the volunteer in the mascot design project, we will provide the following resources:1. Branding Guidelines: We will provide branding guidelines that outline the organisation's visual identity, including colour palettes, typography, and logo usage. These guidelines will help ensure that the mascot design aligns with the overall brand image.2. Inspiration and References: We will provide relevant reference materials to inspire and guide the design process.3. Collaboration and Feedback: The team will collaborate closely with the volunteer, providing regular feedback and guidance throughout the project to ensure the mascot design meets the organisation's objectives.
This mascot design project will significantly contribute to our goals in several ways:1. Enhanced Engagement: The mascot will serve as a captivating and relatable symbol, attracting the attention and interest of the target age group. It will create a memorable and interactive experience, increasing children's engagement with our activities and messages.2. Brand Visibility: Through various channels, such as events, educational materials, and social media, the mascot will amplify our visibility and reach a wider audience.3. Education and Inspiration: The mascot's design will incorporate elements that educate children about environmental conservation and sustainability in a fun and accessible manner. It will inspire young minds to develop a deeper appreciation for nature and motivate them to take actions that contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.

Established in 2018, Green Hour aims to promote a sustainable lifestyle through education, events and campaigning. Having already organised multiple beach cleanups, 'plogs' as well as Hong Kong's first 'Plastic Attack', Green Hour has begun establishing itself in the area. More recently, Green hour has started its Bun Run initiative, rescuing surplus food items from being sent to landfill and distributing them, as well as other essentials, to those in need in the community. To date, Green Hour supports roughly 100 individuals on a weekly basis, with plans to expand over the coming months.
