• Provide general admin support for learner application and recruitment process
• Perform data entry and maintain record keeping
• Provide follow-up support to application by email, phone or whatsapp
• 1-2 days on-site per week (9:30am-1pm/ 2pm-6pm)
• Looking for Cantonese-speaking volunteers
• Detailed briefing and support from our team will be provided, welcome anyone with/without experience!
• Volunteers who can commit to support 2 months or more will be ideal

Generation Hong Kong is constantly providing education to employment services to different underserved populations in HK. The Guardians of the Silver Age project aims to redefine care and foster a compassionate eldercare ecosystem in Hong Kong. The program is comprised of training including innovative gerontechnology, on-the-job advice, mentorship, and alumni support components. It centers not only on the technical proficiency of the learners upon graduation, but also on their behavioral and mindset change in the process, offering them a holistic and compassion-based point of view in the value of their role towards enabling the wellbeing of older adults, and bringing peace of mind to their daily lives.In order to better prepare our learners to join the eldercare industry after 8 weeks of training, we are now recruiting skilled volunteers to help conduct mock interviews so the learners can gain confidence and have higher chance of success in the actual job interview.

The role of admin support will help enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process of the Guardians for the Silver Age program. Hence, more like-minded people who share the vision of compassion-based elderly care will be able to join our training, and get equipped to join the industry. With that, we strive to transform the elderly service ecosystem with a group of industry practitioners who guard the dignity of the silver age.
