In 2010, a group of students of Master Yogananth from Anahata Yoga Centre initiated the Andiappan Yoga Community (AYC) in Hong Kong. Our community proudly carries on a long-standing tradition of outreach from the esteemed Andiappan Yoga Education and Research Trust, Chennai, India. Since our establishment, we have grown significantly in size and impact. In 2015, we were officially registered as a section 88 charitable institution, further solidifying our commitment to serving the community. Today, we are a thriving community consisting of hundreds of registered volunteer yoga teachers who selflessly dedicate their time and expertise to serve thousands of students throughout Hong Kong. Our primary focus is to make the transformative practice of yoga accessible to individuals from all walks of life. Through our outreach programs, classes, and workshops, we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming space where individuals can experience the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga. As a community-driven organization, we are deeply committed to our mission of promoting well-being and positive change in our society. We continually seek opportunities to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to expand our reach and impact.
