Hi I am Thomas Chow, a Certified Public accountant in Hong Kong with more than ten years of working experiences in the accounting / auditing field gained from a combination of organizations in the public and private sectors. I am passionate about serving the community in my pastime. At present, I am serving as a member of the Election Committee (Religious Sector) of The Government of HKSAR. I have also been appointed as a Committee Member of the Young Members' Committee of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants starting January 2024, advocating and providing support to accountants with the age below 40. Embracing the idea of continuous learning, I have completed a Master of Professional Accounting degree with Distinction in 2023 from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I participated in a variety of volunteer work involving rendering support to the 2023 Top Ten News Election for Secondary School Students held by the Hok Yau Club, fundraisers for the Rise Wise Foundation and Youth Summit 2023 hosted by the Kids4Kids Foundation. I was given the 2023 Wanchai District Outstanding Youth Award by the District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee. I am looking forward to volunteer opportunities that could enhance my leadership skills with medium to long term commitments. I am also open for ad-hoc opportunities that I could offer support for events or short-term mentorship program for youth.
