Effective project management processes, tools, and skills are essential for social project implementation. Managing stakeholder/user experience (UX) is the top among all skills.  In any social project, there are multiple users (may be referred to as stakeholders), including fund sponsors, service producers, event leaders, beneficiaries and their carers, volunteers and paid staff, etc. Every stakeholder has its expectations, explicit and implicit. It is always true that many social projects fail because of the expectation vs. reality trap. ISO20700:2017 provides an agenda for social enterprises and NPOs to apply a step-by-step approach to listen, clarify, and reinforce stakeholders' expectations.
