Aglaia Kong is CTO for Henderson Land Group; Chairman for LeapFive, focusing on chip; CEO/CTO for ExaLeap, a technology company focusing on smart home, smart enterprise, smart health and smart city solutions for social impact. Prior to ExaLeap, Aglaia Kong was Google CTO overseeing Google and Alphabet network infrastructure. Leveraging Artificial Intelligent (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), she defines and designs the overall architecture to build Software Defined Network (SDN). With SDN, the network is configured and optimized automatically based on intent and policy. She was also part of Google Cloud CTO Office and initiated Google Cloud IOT Core. She defined and drove Google smart building effort worldwide and educated the industrial on the approach for smart buildings.
Before Google, Aglaia Kong was the Cisco’s CTO for IOE (Internet of Everything) Solution Group and VP of Technology leading solution innovation for IOT. IOE is about connecting things (IOT) together for different vertical. With things together, Cisco can help customers to optimize their operations via data analytics and drive new business value. In this role, she works closely with partners and industrial experts to create new solutions for verticals like oil & gas, manufacture, energy, smart cities/nations and health care etc.. In her time in Cisco, she is also VP/GM for Connected Platform Group, focusing in delivering innovative products/platforms to enable various vertical solutions, such as education, health care and smart cities. She is also served as CTO for Cisco China, understanding the unique China trends & needs, creating new products to address these needs, and driving many partnerships to help Cisco to get into new markets and participate in country transformational deals.
All volunteer hours must be completed during December 2019 to Oct 2020.
Cost per person is HK$150 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$250 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.
Lunch will be held at 12:15pm - 2:30pm on a weekend in Oct/Nov 2020. Date TBC.
