NiQ joined HKBN in May 2004 and leads according to the “3P” formula of “Purpose + Passion = Profit”. His prior roles in HKBN include CFO, CT&FO (Chief Talent & Financial Officer), COO before becoming CEO in 2018. Prior to joining HKBN, NiQ was an analyst and the Director and Head of Asia Telecom Research for Credit Suisse, where he was involved in numerous global fund-raising initiatives for Asian telecom carriers. NiQ holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Western Australia and an eMBA from Kellogg-HKUST. He is a Fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and CPA Australia. Early on his career, NiQ aspired to become a professional tennis player, but he was not very good, so he become an accountant instead.
