A trained classical musician turned adman, Rudi's 27+ years advertising career began as a copywriter, then a creative director and digital/social media specialist. He worked at an array of international ad agencies including Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Bates, TBWA\HK, Carat, Wunderman, and DDB. He hosted positions as Creative Director, General Manager, and Vice President at these companies. His creative works won and have been shortlisted in numerous international & local creative awards including Cannes, Spikes, Ad Fest, EFFIES, MARKIES, and Hong Kong Kam Fan Awards. He also hosted the position as Digital Chairman & education exco of HK4As, exco member of HKAIM, Alumni Advisory Board member of HKUST MBA. In 2014, HKAIM Media Convergence Awards elected Rudi as Digital Marketer Of The Year. In 2016, Rudi founded Hungry Digital (www.hungrydigital.com), a social-first creative agency that won the medal of AGENCY of the Year 2017 as Local Hero.
Rudi published two books, Social ROI (Return on Influence) and Advertising For Dummies; both were no.1 top-selling business titles at the Eslite Bookstore HK. His appearance as a keynote speaker at various conferences includes Ad: Tech Singapore, Social Media Week, SES, ClickZ Live, HKAIM, TEDx Kowloon, and more. All volunteer hours must be completed during 1 June 2019 to 15 June 2020.
Cost per person is HK$150 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$250 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.
Dinner will be held on 22 June 2020 at 7:15pm - 9:30pm at R ONE Space in Causeway Bay.
