Meet Stephanie Smith, the Head of APAC Operations at Goldman Sachs, who will share her insights on personal resiliency; trying, failing and still succeeding.

關於我們

Stephanie is a managing director and partner at Goldman Sachs. She is the head of Asia Pacific Operations and chief operating officer for Goldman Sachs Asia Bank Limited, a restricted license bank. Having joined Goldman Sachs 19 years ago, Stephanie has held positions across many of the firm’s businesses and spent most of her career in New York, before moving with her family to Hong Kong in 2016. Stephanie is on many of Goldman Sachs’ internal operational and risk committees, as well as being a sponsor for the Asia Pacific Black and Hispanic/Latino Network and an ally for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network. Outside of work Stephanie serves on the Board of Directors for Arrow Re Insurance Group and the Council of Urban Professionals, a non-profit organization that seeks to connect, empower and mobilize high performing diverse talent across financial services, legal, media and entertainment, non-profit and public sectors.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has developed skills for personal resiliency but continues to adapt and hone her leadership style and mentors many individuals across the financial services industry.

Cost per person is HK$100 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$200 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.
