Mr. Evan Auyang is the Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific for GLG, running and growing its business across 10 offices. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Civic Exchange, a non-partisan public policy think tank. Mr. Auyang also serves on the Board and on the Executive Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Advisory Committee on Corruption of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (“ICAC”), and an Advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation. Mr. Auyang is on the Executive Committee of the Young Presidents’ Organization (Hong Kong Chapter) where he is a member, and on the Executive Committee of Green Monday. In addition, Mr. Auyang serves on the Transport Policy Committee of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, the Environment Bureau’s Working Group on review of Air Quality Objectives, the Development Fund Committee of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Development Committee of the World Wide Fund, the Advisory Committee for School of Environment for the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, as well as the Board of Advisors of the Kellogg School of Management Alumni Club.
Prior to GLG, Mr. Auyang was the Deputy Managing Director of the Kowloon Motor Bus Company (KMB) and a Board Director of Transport International Holdings Limited, the parent company of KMB. Prior to joining Transport International and KMB, Mr. Auyang was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. Before management consultancy, Mr. Auyang was at Citigroup’s derivatives structuring and marketing unit. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from Brown University, and his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management.
All volunteer hours must be completed from 31 July 2017 to 31 December 2017.
Dinner will be held at 6:45pm in Central on 11 January 2018.
The cost will be HK$200 per person to cover the running cost of the program.
